Description

Millions of tons of waste are produced every year in the South of France, causing disastrous pollution. To protect our environment and our region, we are organizing a major collection operation in Saint-Tropez.

A territory at the forefront of the fight against plastic pollution, the South region has set itself a clear objective: zero plastic waste by 2030. With the "Let's Clean the South" operation, more than 20,000 volunteers mobilized in 2024 to clean our streets, our parks, our beaches, collecting 85 tons of waste in more than 300 partner municipalities.

In 2023, a waste collection operation took place on Canoubiers Beach. A collection of submerged waste was carried out in the bay with the association L'Odyssée Bleue.

In 2024, the operation was renewed at Bouillabaisse beach with several partners including the USECAN association and Les Sauveteurs en mer.

In 2025, still under the aegis of the SUD PACA Region, the town of Saint-Tropez is organizing a major waste collection operation on Salins beach.

This day will mark the 50th anniversary of the Conservatoire du Littoral, owner of the Domaine Emile OLLIVIER - Château de la Moutte.

Those who wish can visit the Château de la Moutte, the botanical park and participate in the "seed" workshops of Cédric Pollet, botanical photographer, to develop their senses and their knowledge of wood, bark and seeds.

We look forward to seeing you on April 26, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at the Château de la Moutte park for the third edition of "Let's Clean the South" and hope to see even more of you there. Registration will open to the public in March.
