Description
On June 29, Sainte-Maxime pays tribute to its maritime heritage with the traditional Saint-Pierre Festival. A day punctuated by traditions, fervor, and conviviality.
The festivities begin with a mass in the church, followed by a procession at sea where local fishermen honor their patron saint by blessing their boats. Back on Luc Provensal beach, the Lei Magnoti folk group sets the tone with traditional dances and music before the burning of the Pointu, a moment always charged with emotion.
As night falls, it's time to party on the Simon-Lorière promenade with a large sardine party followed by a warm-hearted guinguette evening.
The ticket office for the sardine party is OPEN.
